About the Author

Murray W. Nabors, Ph.D. is a Professor of Biology with a research interest in genetic engineering and a major love for western American history.  He is Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Professor of Biology at Missouri Western State University.  He grew up in Oklahoma and is a graduate of Yale University and Michigan State University.  Now, he lives with his family on a small farm near Saint Joseph, Missouri with numerous dairy goats, horses, donkeys, cows, cats, dogs, and other animals.  His publishing credits include a college Botany text book as well as three novels about the Oregon Trail.  recently, he has published a major self-help book entitled The Magical Dozen–How to Control Your Destiny and Create the Life You want–In Good Times and Bad.  See booksbotanyandblogs.com or Amazon.com to purchase and for more information.  Murray is available for talks and seminars.  Please leave a message.
